Worked for two years as nursing assistant before studying Medical Informatics at the University of Heidelberg. Worked in and eventually lead a working group "Knowledge based Systems in Medicine" in the Center for Technology Transfer Bad Oeynhausen. Built up a medical Informatics department in the Heart and Diabetes Center Northrhine-Westphalia, became head of hospital IT. Ph.D. thesis on multilingual text generation for clinical documents. Product manager Cardiology IT with Siemens AX, Forchheim, then Product Line Manager CVIS with Siemens SYNGO, Erlangen. Currently Clinical Director Clinical Services Philips Medical Systems, Böblingen.
