Elisabeth Maier has over 20 years of practical experience in the development of AI and NLP solutions. Her career started with a decade of research in Natural Language Generation, Dialogue Management and Machine Translation. Transitioning to the business world, Elisabeth led a team at a major Swiss bank, focusing on Web applications and technology transfer. She has held leadership roles such as Group CTO and VP Language Technology Europe for two of the largest Language Service Providers (LSPs). She also co-founded two Swiss software development companies, including Karakun AG, where she currently serves as a Board member after a six-year tenure as CEO.
Elisabeth is excited about the growing recognition of NLP and AI as key enablers for the development of efficient, human-centered business solutions.
