digm is a new tech startup aimed at connecting social impact investors and venture capital with research technologies around Linked Open Data in Europe and the US. digm is establishing two subsidiaries: one based in the US and one based in Spain. digm is presenting to the Language Technologies community in Europe because we believe it is the community that most profoundly understands the potential of linguistic linked open data to enable truly global open data ventures. We are looking at the ways we can monetize, and make self-sufficient and thriving, Linked Open Data initiatives. digm is at a seed stage. We have developed a roadmap and are working on strategic alliances and specific, high-profile demonstration projects.
