Andrejs Vasiljevs

Andrejs Vasiļjevs is the co-founder and chairman of the board of a leadingEuropean language technology company Tilde. He is a board member of theLatvia State Language Commission, European Language Resource Association(ELRA), and LT Innovate forum. He takes an active role in European R&Dcollaboration coordinating several large international projects on languagetechnologies and language resource infrastructure. Andrejs has received aPh.D. in Computer Sciences from the University of Latvia and has authoredmore than 50 research papers
