Robert Dale

Dr Dale is an internationally recognised leader in NLG R&D.Since receiving his PhD from the University of Edinburgh in 1989, he haspublished over 160 papers and seven books on a wide range of topics innatural language processing. His best known publication is Building NaturalLanguage Generation Systems, which is widely used as a textbook for NLG. From2003 to 2012 he served as editor-in-chief of Computational Linguistics, thepreeminent international journal on natural language processing. In 2012 DrDale stepped down as Professor in Computational Linguistics at Sydney’sMacquarie University to join Arria as Chief Technology Officer.
