Ilan is CEO of K Dictionaries, leading its business strategy, resource development, and collaboration with industrial, academic and professional partners worldwide.
He is editor and publisher of Kernerman Dictionary News, co-editor of publications on lexicography, member of scientific committees, co-organizer of international workshops on lexicography and language technology / wordnets / neologisms, former president of Asialex, and current chair of Globalex.
His main linguistic interests include the interoperability of lexicography, language technology, knowledge systems and multilinguality, and the automatic generation of crosslingual lexical data.
