Personal Bio

Kim Ludvigsen is Danish and Swiss national and lives in Zürich with his wife and daughter. He studied Civil Engineering at the ETH in Zürich and later attended the MBA Programme at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. Back in Switzerland, he went into Management Consulting, working for Accenture, Apax Partners and Ernst & Young, where he specialised in Corporate Finance and Valuation Methodology. As an independent consultant, he co-founded several start-ups and now works as a coach and angel investor with young technology companies.
Having attended conferences with simultaneous interpreting provided, he recognised that replacing traditional technology with onsite booths by interpreters working remotely could lead to lower cost and higher efficiency and in 2014 he founded Interprefy. The company developed successfully, and at the end of 2019 Kim stepped down as CEO, today he is strategic advisor and vice chairman of the Board.
