Hervé Bourlard is the Director of the Idiap Research Institute, Full Professor at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology at Lausanne (EPFL), and (founding) Director of a Swiss Centre of Competence in Research on “Interactive Multimodal Information Management”. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Intl. Computer Science Institute (ICSI), Berkeley, CA. Hervé Bourlard has been active in Language Technology research and businesses for more than 30 years. Having worked in language technology for academia and industry for more than 30 years, he is the recipient of multiple academic and entrepreneurship awards.
