Presentation title:
What do Roche, Porsche and Berns Language Consulting have in Common? AI!
Presentation description:
Applying AI in the form of Large Language Models (LLMs) is a no-brainer for companies these days - or is it? In this session, we would like to share experiences from our LLM pilots and what they have taught us. The central question: How (and if) to apply AI efficiently and effectively to specific language use-cases in two large industry companies. As introduction, company representatives from F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd and Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG will each present their LLM-pilots, explaining the challenges they faced in the process. Sophia Ackermann from berns language consulting (blc), who accompanied both companies on their LLM journey will shed light on similarities between the pilots. This is followed by a Q&A moderated by Kerstin Berns, where all three talk about what they learned from their pilots, how their LLM journey will continue and discuss with the audience, how they see the future of LLM application in the language field.
