Rachel Herwartz is professor of translation and terminology management at the International University SDI Munich and head of the master's program in Translation Management.
Her research focuses on terminology, artificial intelligence, machine translation and large language models.
As owner and founder of TermSolutions GmbH, she is an expert in termbase modeling and the implementation and optimization of corporate terminology processes. She has been coaching and designing terminology management systems for 20 years and, as product owner, is responsible for the development of termXplorer, myTerm and termXact.
As a member of the German Institute for Standardization (DIN), she is currently working on the new standard for multilingual terminology work.
