The NLP group at the Institute of Information Systems Engineering of TU Wien is an interdisciplinary team of natural language experts. Led by Dr. Gábor Recski since 2020, the group’s research focuses on computational models of natural language semantics and their applications in natural language processing applications. The open-source technologies developed at TUW NLP have recently enabled several prototype AI solutions in complex domains that require a high degree of transparency and configurability that is not achievable via standard LLM-based NLP models.
